The Minneapolis and Saint Paul RBI and Rookie League program has continued to grow since its beginning and it is in large part due to volunteers who have devoted their time to kids involved in the program.
Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board and Saint Paul Parks and Recreation Division are constantly looking for people to help with various aspects of the RBI and Rookie League program.
The two main areas where people are always needed are as coaches for the teams and umpires to serve as game officials. Coaching in the program is done completely on a volunteer basis; however umpiring is a paid position.
